Belkheiri Elbahi (born in 1994 in Djelfa, Algeria) is a visual artist whose practice combines painting, digital collage, and photography. His work explores notions of collective memory, heritage, and human emotions through poetic visual composi- tions where images, textures, and fragments of reality converge.
Through his artworks, he is interested in how traces of the past persist in the present and shape contemporary sensibilities. By blending different mediums, he creates images in which memory, imagination, and human experience engage in dialogue through hybrid visual forms.
His work has been presented in several national and international exhibitions, notably in the United Arab Emirates, Lebanon, and France. Winner of the 3rd So- ciété Générale Prize in 2019, he also participated in artistic residency programs in Algeria in 2024 and France in 2025.
He lives and works in Algeria.
